Lollapalooza 2007 – Day 1.

Eddie Vedder at Wrigley Field.

Before heading down to Lollapalooza Julie and I caught the Mets – Cubs game at Wrigley Field where Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam sang ‘Take me out to the ballpark’. The Mets won 6-2 which means I’m 2 for 3 in Midwest Mets Games.

On to Lollapalooza:

Lollapalooza 2007.

We made it down to the show in time to see The Black Keys and Ben Harper which is all I really wanted to see the first day. I managed to work my way up to the stage, so we had a great spot for both shows. The Black Keys were awesome but as you will see there were camera guys everywhere.

There are only 2 guys in the Black Keys… yet there were 4 camera guys.

Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals were classic. The only part of the show that was bad was when Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam came out and the douchebag camera man decided to sit directly in front of him and right on the stage so no one could see him play. It was just the worst thing I’ve ever seen.Ben Harper.Ben Harper and Eddie Vedder.

Last night after a late flight (yes, it was delayed) I met up with some folks at Zeno’s for a couple pitchers of beer.

Nick Barbone and Luke toasting the accomplishments of mankind.More toasting, this time to humanity.Mo getting all 'Irish'.Nick Barbone commenting on our current state of international affairs.Luke rocking out.Mo Thompson toasting a night out with the boys.Nick Barbone's take on the convergence of telecommunications and photography.Toasting by Mo Thompson and Nik Bronder.Myles Tersnak thinking about ‘work things’.

While at the bar the NC State – FSU game was on and Luke notified us that Florida State had a guy on their roster named De’ Cody Fagg. In the photograph below he’s pointing this out.

Needless to say we hit the Pizza Place for a couple slices rather late.

Bronder at Char Bar.

Last night people gathered at the CharBar to review the Penske File one last time. As you can tell by the photographs Mr. French was giving 110% all night long.

We also got to hangout with Offensive Genius Joe Tiller.

Above is a photograph showing a disguised Myles Tersnak running the 2005 Columbus Marathon this past Sunday. It was hard to spot the infamously secretive Tersnak but after spending several hours staking out the course my patience paid off… Big Time.

Post from Last Year’s Marathon: here.

Man of the House.

The Official Myles Tersnak Open House went off without a hitch. Various types of meats were consumed, possibly two of every animal. We also learned that Kyle (Nuggy) managed to rack up a $600 tab in the city of Gahanna. I’m not exactly sure where in Gahanna but I do know I have a long standing policy of never putting more than $20 into the Gahanna economy in one evening.

Myles Tersnak Sighting.

With the occasion being Myles Tersnak’s first step into Adulthood (i.e. home ownership, or as James puts it Debt) there was reason to celebrate. The night began at the new residence and ended up at Char Bar.

As always, there were casualties: my camera and Myles’ physique.

In my opinion anytime Myles Tersnak makes an appearance it’s guaranteed to be an interesting night to say the least.

Myles Tersnak at the Varsity Club.

From this photograph you’d assume Myles was Victorious. You’d be wrong. As you can see from the images below the Victor was clearly Old Dan Tucker.

Myles Tersnak competing in the Race for the Cure.

The Race For the Cure was held in Columbus yesterday. One Myles Tersnak. can be seen being beaten by an old man.

What once was lost, now has been found.

Myles “The Terz” ran his first (some say his last) Marathon this past weekend. After the offical results from the 24th Columbus Marathon were tallied Tersnak more than likely lost to some guy from Kenya. Because guys from Kenya seem to win all Marathons.

Now we all hope Tersnak will come back to reality and join us for a drink.
