On Saturday I got to see several bands, most of which I would have never seen if not for Lollapalooza<\/a>. First up was Tapes N Tapes<\/a> which Nick Barbone<\/a> and I just made it to the park in time to see and they were badass. By far the best band we saw on Saturday.<\/p>\n

After Tapes N Tapes<\/a> we headed over to one of the smaller stages to catch the sensation that is sweeping the nation: Lady GaGa’s<\/a>. It’s hard to really describe the ladies without mentioning the vast quantities of hairspray that they employ. Check the guy out in the first photo above. Here’s to hoping his wife never sees this photograph.<\/p>\n

Nick and I also checked out The Roots <\/a>in the afternoon. I’ve never seen them as well (an ongoing theme on Saturday) but it was a good show. For a ‘Hip Hop’ ‘Band’ they were pretty awesome.<\/p>\n

To wrap up our day we saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs<\/a> introduced on the main stage by Perry Farrell<\/a>. Their lead singer is a maniac.<\/p>\n
