The show was at <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/South_Street_Seaport\"_top\">The South Street Seaport<\/a> which is like one of those fake old towns that you see,  with cobble stone streets and all.  The music was good but for no other reason than luck we stood behind all the tall people at the concert.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image248\" src=\"http:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/tedleo_2006_3.jpg\" alt=\"My view at the Ted Leo Show\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image249\" src=\"http:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/tedleo_2006_4.jpg\" alt=\"Julie's view at the Ted Leo Show\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It was fine until the show started and then the guy in the pink shirt on the left decided to stand directly in front of me.  It wouldn&#8217;t have been so bad but for the hair.  So I bitched a lot during the show and then I noticed what the view would be like from Julie&#8217;s spot.  As you can see in the second image above it&#8217;s worse than mine.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image245\" src=\"http:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/southportseaport.jpg\" alt=\"Empire State Building from the South Street Seaport\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We ended up moving around to the side of the stage where you could actually see the band and then I stopped complaining and we started to make fun <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hipster\"_top\">hipsters<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night we checkout River to River Festival.
