The Mets<\/a> and Yankees<\/a> were in town<\/a> this week for series’ against the Cubs<\/a> and the White Sox<\/a> which provided us the chance to see both parks, Wrigley Field<\/a> and U.S. Cellular Field<\/a>, this week. \u00a0Julie<\/a> managed to do both stadiums in the same day but some of us work like normal people and had to spread out this adventure over two days.

\nOf course the Mets lost and the Yankees won but sometimes that’s how things work. \u00a0I will have to say U.S. Cellular Field is much more\u00a0accommodating\u00a0than Wrigley Field. \u00a0Plus the fan base is a little more sane. \u00a0Granted I sat in the Bleachers at Wrigley and you really can’t see much from there.<\/p>\n

I nearly spark a riot by responding to a crazed fan who was carry the “It’s gonna happen” sign. \u00a0The “It’s gonna happen”<\/a>\u00a0phenomena\u00a0started last year meaning the Cubs are going to finally win the World Series. \u00a0To me it’s not really a slogan you can use more than one year. \u00a0Especially\u00a0if it doesn’t happen. \u00a0In not so many words I informed the guy that he said the same thing last year. \u00a0From there it was pretty much a downward spiral.<\/p>\n
