Last night Julie<\/a> and I were at game one of the Stanley Cup Finals<\/a> in Detroit. \u00a0The game didn’t end that way we would have wanted<\/a> but that’s why it’s a seven game series. \u00a0We’ll be back in Detroit for game 2 (and if need be game 7).<\/p>\n

Our seats were literally the last row in the Joe Louis Arena which meant we stood the entire game and struggled to see the goal are on our end. \u00a0Granted the Pens we’re going for the other goal 2 of the 3\u00a0periods\u00a0but they never scored. \u00a0Our seats will be much better tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Before the game we spent some time at the Post Bar<\/a> which when we got there in the afternoon was filled with Red Wing fans. \u00a0The bar was very ‘Detroit’ and by that I mean they had cold bottle beer and no draft… and the place was covered in\u00a0graffiti.<\/p>\n
