Yesterday Julie<\/a> and I hosted our\u00a0Fifth of July BBQ<\/a>. \u00a0I spent the better part of the day smoking 8 racks of ribs which went off pretty well considering it was only my second attempt (I think they could have gone a little longer).<\/p>\n

We had a pretty good turnout, Dan offered up a keg of beer which is never a bad idea, Jen brought cupcakes that were\u00a0inhaled\u00a0and there was only one casualty (a plastic chair). \u00a0Thanks to everyone who brought food.<\/p>\n

A good time was had by all.<\/p>\n

  2. I marinated the Ribs for 24 hours with a rub that I had shipped from\u00a0Dinosaur\u00a0BBQ<\/a> in NYC and I roughly followed these<\/a> directions\u00a0regarding\u00a0the grill.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
