Last night Julie<\/a> and I went to the Penguins – Blackhawk<\/a>s game at the United Center. \u00a0The Pens managed to give up two\u00a0separate\u00a0two goal leads but Malkin<\/a> put it away 5-4 in OT. \u00a0There were a ton of goals down by our side of the ice which was great. \u00a0A good mix of Pens fans in attendance as well.<\/p>\n

The Blackhawks have been doing promo giveaways before a bunch of games all season long. \u00a0Last night’s was a Hawks hardhat. \u00a0When Jonathan Toews of the Blackhawks scored his first career hat trick the promo hardhats made their way onto the ice. \u00a0After an instant replay review the goal was called off but Toews managed to score another goal a couple minutes later and the hardhats poured down again.<\/p>\n

The Pens went into OT on the power play and Malkin scored the game winner about a minute into the extra period.<\/p>\n
