{"id":331,"date":"2006-04-16T10:48:51","date_gmt":"2006-04-16T15:48:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/?p=331"},"modified":"2006-04-16T10:48:51","modified_gmt":"2006-04-16T15:48:51","slug":"ireland-and-my-thoughts-on-international-travel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/?p=331","title":{"rendered":"Ireland and my thoughts on International Travel."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image312\" src=\"http:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/08\/irishway.jpg\" alt=\"irishway.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Late last night I returned from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Blarney_Castle\" TARGET=\"_top\">Ireland<\/a> in what has been a two week<br \/>\ntraining session and my second experince with International Travel.  I&#8217;ve come to believe that International Travel is simply an <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aptitude_Test\" TARGET=\"_top\">Aptitude Test<\/a>, or maybe more accurately <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Survival_of_the_fittest\" TARGET=\"_top\"><i>Survival of the Fittest<\/i><\/a>.  The <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Heathrow_airport\" TARGET=\"_top\"><i>Heathrow Mile<\/i><\/a> wasn&#8217;t nearly as bad the second time around, but then again it never is.  Irish Customs&#8217; is a joke compared to the US or British.  As with most of my trips, slogans were coined and marketing plans devised.  I&#8217;m contemplating an Irish Startup that specialize in creating bumper stickers and t-shirts that simply read &#8216;Stick It To The Crown&#8217;.  I&#8217;m confident they would do well in the Republic of Ireland.
