Yesterday on our last day in Colorado Julie<\/a> and I went to Coors Field<\/a> for the Rockies – Cub<\/a>s game. \u00a0Neither of us have ever been to Colorado let alone a Rockies game so we made sure to get over to the stadium early and walk around. \u00a0There were huge lines at all the gates because of the bobblehead give-away so we decided to check out the Breckinridge Brewery<\/a>** across the street before the game began.<\/p>\n

The weather for the game couldn’t have been better with the temperature at about 70 degrees. \u00a0I of course ended up with my typical Spring sunburn. \u00a0The game was a back and forth offensive showing with the Rockies breaking a late game tie with 2 outs in the 8th inning. \u00a0From what I hear the Rockies have started off as one of the better teams in baseball going 12-3 for the first 3 weeks of the season.<\/p>\n

** Before the game we hung out at Breckinridge Brewing and I had two of the better IPA’s I’ve tasted in a long time: \u00a0the 471 IPA<\/a> and the Lucky U IPA<\/a>. \u00a0Also, the staff at Breckinridge were by far the most accommodating of all the places we visited. \u00a0To my surprise Julie had the Vanilla Porter<\/a> which she enjoyed.<\/p>\n
