For $12 you get all you can eat roasted pork and sides until it&#8217;s gone. \u00a0For a winter day with 6 inches of snow on the ground it was a great crowd and quite possibly the best deal in town. \u00a0The setup was great, they pushed together two hightop tables and <a title=\"Twitter:  Chef Cary Taylor\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/ChefCaryTaylor\">Chef Cary Taylor<\/a> carved the Pig as everyone in the bar formed a line. \u00a0The bartender said last week had a bigger crowd (less snow) but it seemed like everyone had a chance for a seconds.<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t stress how amazing this was for only $12.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Pig Roast at The Southern by bronder, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/bronder\/6739426131\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7157\/6739426131_ecb0ca56fd_z.jpg\" alt=\"Pig Roast at The Southern\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" \/><\/a><a title=\"Pig Roast at the Southern by bronder, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/bronder\/6739427023\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7003\/6739427023_0f67a3da61_z.jpg\" alt=\"Pig Roast at the Southern\" width=\"640\" height=\"428\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Side Notes:<br \/>\n* Julie and I stopped by The Southern on Wednesday night for some live music and that&#8217;s how we found out about the Pig Roast. That night I had the Fried Chicken Dinner and it was also great.<br \/>\n** The Southern will do a pig roast to order for groups of 10 or more.
