Today        the Green Bay <a target=\"_top\" href=\"http:\/\/www.packers.com\/\">Packers<\/a>        defeated the Washington <a target=\"_top\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redskins.com\/\">Redskins<\/a>        28-14 and in doing so possibly decided the Presidential Election. Since        1936 if the Redskins win their finale home game before the election the        incumbent party will win the election. Today the Redskins managed to let        one <a target=\"_top\" href=\"http:\/\/sports.espn.go.com\/nfl\/recap?gameId=241031028\">slip        away<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Washington&#8217;s Clinton Portis celebrated the apparent winning touchdown with a leap into the end zone, capping a 43-yard reception that gave the Redskins a one-point lead with 2:35 to play.<br \/>\nOops. Scratch that. Flag on the play&#8230;<br \/>\nReceiver James Thrash was whistled for illegal motion<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"streak.gif\" id=\"image664\" src=\"http:\/\/blackhandproductions.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/09\/streak.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In other Football News:<br \/>\nThe Pittsburgh <a target=\"_top\" href=\"http:\/\/www.steelers.com\/\">Steelers<\/a>        managed to break <em>The Streak<\/em>, the <a target=\"_top\" href=\"http:\/\/www.patriots.com\/\">Patriots<\/a>        21 game win streak was <a target=\"_top\" href=\"http:\/\/http\/\/sports.espn.go.com\/nfl\/recap?gameId=241031023\">shatter<\/a>        by the Arm of Ben(Roethlisberger). The Steelers absolutely dominated Tom        Brady and the Patriots by holding onto the ball for a mere 43 minutes of        the 60 minute coming out party.
