Lollapalooza 2007 – Day 3.

The Warriors: Nik and Dom.

We showed up at the gate at around 11:15am and there was a huge line full of insane pearl jam fans. The insane posse ran in a full sprint to the main stage an entire 9 hours before the show. Kelly and I (after leaving behind everyone else) swiftly strolled to the prime location that Dom and I would man for virtually the next nine hours in what had to be 90 degree tempatures. At times we were fighting off delirium and people from all sides. I think it was worth it but time will only tell.

The whole gang.

Kings of Leon were badass, their bass player is the most ‘Rock Star’ bass player of all time. I’m pretty sure he didn’t sweat the entire show even though it was a thousand degrees. Eddie Vedder closed out the set with the band.

Pearl Jam was awesome as you would imagine. They played a couple songs with Ben Harper and the show ended with Eddie singing ‘Rockin’ in the Free World on the shoulders of Dennis Rodman. It was awesome. Best Pearl Jam show I’ve ever seen.

  1. Emily

Nik – very nice pictures. Your random facts failed to mention the number of crowd surfers that the bad ass security guards pulled out of the crowd over our heads. For those interested, I estimate the number was approximately 99.

  2. Jim

Bronder – was Gus Polinski and the Kenosha Kickers on the third stage?

thats right, I answered the ultimate question

  3. Nick

Much Respect to Bronder and Dom who look like they could commit homicide in that top picture. None will truly know the stuggle they endured.
