Last night a bunch of us went over to Hye Bar on Southport after our cookout where we met up with Kelly and maybe had a beer or two. Some one probably had some shots, there might even have been some pizza eaten near midnight, this of course is only speculation. Speculation, because I don’t even remember Dom and I calling Myles Tersnak to inform him of being a douchebag. I know of this because of the call I got this morning from Myles explaining the voice mail that was left.

Good times had by all.

Mens Room Marketing.

Hot Rod Poster at Riverview Tavern.

I’m a little confused as to what the marketing team working on the Hot Rod account was thinking.  The only reason I know this films exists is because I’ve read about it above urinals; is that what they were shooting for?  The last place I’m likely to remember any product is at the urinal.  The only reason I recall this (which I have seen in bars everywhere) is because I took the picture.

Please return the Sports Page to its rightful place… above the Urinal (ie. the greatest idea ever).

Yesterday evening Julie and I headed out to the Wrigleyville SummerFest to check out some quality live music. What we got was beyond description. We watched Two White Crew’s whole set and then caught more than my share of Elevation. Two White Crew were more than amusing. They played pretty much every song from every High School party I ever attended and they ended their set with Sir Mix-A-Lot’s Baby Got Back.

*Side Note: Elevation on the other hand was pretty hard to watch. Lead singer Daniel Burrow actually believes he is Bono. In the 20 minutes we were there he changed costumes twice, climbed the speaker stand once while wearing the American flag and actually referred to the guitarist as Edge. Speaking of The Edge, he must have had 5 different guitars on stage just in case (the picture below was borrowed from myphotoalbum.com).
