Night of Broken Porcelain.

A wonderful evening had by all, including the men from Club 185 and they’re sink.

Summary:

The evening began as an after work outing and ended up becoming a reunion of sorts (ending with a cab ride the next morning from the only Grandma Cabbie in the Capital City). The highlight of the evening had to be the Immaculate Rolling Rock, which can be seen in one of my photographs above.

1st Annual Cosby Sweater Party.

The 1st Annual Cosby Sweater Party was held last night and it was considered a moderate success by most. Nearly everyone showed up with a true Cosby Sweater and those who didn’t used one of the many spares we had on hand.

Mohawk Scalped in Idaho.

scalp.jpg

I thought the time has passed for when I read about a Mohawk being scalped but I stand corrected. About two weeks ago in Idaho a 16 year-old girl who sports a Mohawk was scalped by one of her peers. The girl was considered a Punk Rocker and the code of conduct for Idaho Punk Rockers clearly states no disrespecting of women. This code was broken according to Bill Braddock, chief deputy of Boise County:

“In their punk group, wearing a mohawk is a sign of being a punker, and according to their creed if you disrespect women you are not allowed to wear a mohawk,” he said. “But I don’t think the victim had any idea in the world she was going to be scalped.”

The girl was apparently scalped by the leader of their group, 26 year-old Marianne Dahle. Dahle seemed to take issue with the Mohawk.
