Happy Birthday to this Guy!

Charlie at age 20.

What a great picture, I must admit this was taken at an ungodly hour, but nonetheless a great picture. At least I didn’t show the picture of you and the Enforcer again, that would be tragic. I just might have to post the many guises’ of Charles Bronder (i.e. Batman, Spiderman, The Green Lantern, Captain America, Wolverine, The Young Republican)

OUTRAGE!

The tide has shifted.

Today I spent more money on gas than ever before. After mounting a successful defense against $2.00/Gallon gas prices for the better part of 2 weeks I succumb to the powers that be: I paid a mere $2.13/Gallon.

Gas prices have increased more than 40% since 2000 according to the AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. I still believe it’s evil to be paying more than $150/Gallon let alone $2.00. The best thing about this is how gas prices still seem to magically raise on Thursday evening and they don’t come down until Monday evening. I suppose if I didn’t take part in Don’t Buy Gas Day I wouldn’t have had to pay as much on Friday when the prices go up because of the ‘Market’.

Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t.

Adding Google's Site Search.

Today I discovered how to add a search field to the site using Google’s search engine. Google provides the code here. You can customize the code if you want (as I did) so you won’t have to use the google logo on your site and resize search field to better fit your design. As you can see to in my navigation bar the search field is up and running.

Here’s the code I used:

After working on this search project all day I test searching for several things on Google including my name: Bronder. Well it turns out if you search for ‘bronder’ you will be finding pretty much only this site. I guess that means I’m the owner of the name Bronder on the internet. I’m might just throw my hat into the ring for President of the Internet considering my massive name recognition thanks to the power of Google.
