Xes Lounge with everyone from work.

Terri, Nancy, Nik & Douglas at Xes.

Last night I met up with several co-workers former co-workers at Xes Lounge. With Wednesday being my last day this is probably the last time I will see everyone so I figured I’d post the a list of what I’ll miss most about working at Macy’s:

Top Three Things I Will Miss

  1. Thursday afternoons when Tony returns from lunch and tells me with no reservations that “The System is fucking shit”.
  2. The absolute unwarranted amount of time, energy and talent that goes into creating the ‘Floor Map’.
  3. Everyone having mirrors on their desk just in case.

On a complete side note: If you ever find yourself in a Karaoke Deathmatch, make sure Dave Conklin is on your team.

Barcade with the Cook's and Charlie.

Barcade.Barcade.

Last night Julie and I took the Cook’s and my brother Charlie to Barcade for some beverages and joystick action. Needless to say more than a bag full of quarters were lost in purist of childhood glory.

Side Note:

We learned that a wedding ring is not a subsitute for an valid ID in Brooklyn.

This was the second time I’ve used my new camera, the Canon Elph SD600, which replaced my Canon Elph SD400. This is my fourth Canon Elph in roughly 3 years. I seem to be a little hard on the cameras but hopefully that won’t be the case this time around. Granted I’m still figuring out this one since I didn’t have the resolution set to it’s highest setting which caused me to take lower quality pictures than my last camera. The problem has been corrected.
