White Sox and Rain at the Cell.

Last night I headed to U.S. Cellular Field for some rain and baseball. The White Sox ended up losing 6-5 to the Angels in a steady drizzle. We watched about 2 innings from our seats and then headed for the Bullpen Bar. Which by the way keeps serving alcohol throughout the entire game. No stopping in the 7th inning. I guess they get away with this by not allowing you to leave with a beer after the 7th inning. The South Side has a good thing going.

Chicago Theater: Conan O'Brien.

Last night Julie and I went to the Chicago Theater for Conan O’Brien’s Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour.  The show was basically a variety show/concert with altered skits as not to infringe on NBC’s Intellectual property.  For example the Masturbating Bear was now the Masturbating Panda Bear.   By far the funniest skit was the Walker Texas Ranger Lever, I laughed so hard I literarily almost choked . The band was great and inflatable bat from Meat Loaf’s ‘Bat Out of Hell Tour’ was hilarious.
