The End of the Road.

Well it was a good run but it turns out their’s more of them than there is me. Now they will have control of the 3 branches of Government for nearly eight years so I hope when things aren’t much better in 2008 they don’t blame the Liberals.

Black Hand Productions will turn back into whatever it was before this all began. Hopefully it will be a lot more funnier than recently and I’ll focus on some new technologies that I think are interesting.

Back to living and dying on the whims of Football and if not there’s always Canada.

One more thing: I would like to kick the shit out Moral Values. What the hell does Moral Values mean? That’s like asking people if they like happiness.

The American Past-time: Football & Politics.

You can’t argue with the combination of History, Football and Politics. Today the Green Bay Packers defeated the Washington Redskins 28-14 and in doing so possibly decided the Presidential Election. Since 1936 if the Redskins win their finale home game before the election the incumbent party will win the election. Today the Redskins managed to let one slip away:

Washington’s Clinton Portis celebrated the apparent winning touchdown with a leap into the end zone, capping a 43-yard reception that gave the Redskins a one-point lead with 2:35 to play.
Oops. Scratch that. Flag on the play…
Receiver James Thrash was whistled for illegal motion

In other Football News:
The Pittsburgh Steelers managed to break The Streak, the Patriots 21 game win streak was shatter by the Arm of Ben(Roethlisberger). The Steelers absolutely dominated Tom Brady and the Patriots by holding onto the ball for a mere 43 minutes of the 60 minute coming out party. Roethlisberger is now 5-0 in his first 5 starts.

The Game Prevails.

The Game will continue to be The Game, after an outcry from supporters at both universities the Administrations decided to ax the deal.

“As we attempted to move forward, it became apparent that this agreement could detract from the great tradition of the game itself,” Ohio State Athletic Directory Andy Geiger said. “Given that possibility, and the fast-approaching date of this year’s game, the two universities agreed it was in their best interest not to pursue the arrangement at this time.”

As usual, OSU Coach Jim Tressel managed to say absolutely nothing about the subject:

“There’s a lot of different ways you can look at any of the things we do, evolving from just going out in the yard and playing a pickup game to where we are today. I’m sure there’s a lot of things you could discuss as to ‘Is that the right direction?”
