I plan on seeing Fahrenheit 9/11 tomorrow if I can get an early ticket. This will be the first time I have ever seen a Michael Moore film (I just never got around to seeing Bowling for Columbine & Roger and Me doesn’t really appeal). I’m interested in seeing the ‘raw’ footage in the film where members of the Administration are prepping themselves for telecast, I think that will be interesting. Also the much talked about 7 minutes of eternity which has been widely reported (referred to as Bush’s Monica Moment in the Atlantic this month).

I understand that this is a completely biased film but there are parts that can’t really be argued away as crazy liberal talk. I mean when the president gets word the second plane hits the WTC and is told “We’re under Attack” he just sits there for a while reading to the children. This must speak volumes of the man. As most Conservatives would have you believe this is a man of action and great resolve (he tells us this at least every other day) then why did he just sit there reading?

I guess when you have so much god damn resolve you must stay the course, even if it that course contains goats.

I thought we were good friends with the Saudi’s? After all were fighting the same evil right? Or are we?

Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah told his nation on State Television the following regarding the recent terror attacks in the Kingdom:

“Zionism is behind it.  It has become clear now.  It has become clear to us.   I don’t say, I mean…  It is not 100 percent, but 95 percent that the Zionist hands are behind what happened.”

I thought we we’re both fighting extremism and Al Qaida? But wait there’s more…

Prince Nayef, the Saudi Interior Minister, chimed in with this little tidbit:

“Al-Qaida is backed by Israel and Zionism.”

It gets harder to believe most of the highjackers were Saudi every day.

The following are Terms I’ve learned during George W. Bush’s term:

1. Resolve – All I really know about this is that we as a nation, the president, and a whole shitload of others have quite a bit of this. And the Terrorist’s don’t.

2. WMD – I now know this means one shell that contains sarin gas from 20 years ago.

3. UnLawful Combatant – This includes pretty much anyone the administration would like to have a naked photograph of.

4. The Buck Stops Here – I learned that ‘here” is no longer the President’s desk, I assume George got rid of the world’s most powerful paper-weight when he moved in.

5. Mission Accomplished – I learned this term means at least another year of horrible urban war.
