Jim Cornelison at Harry Caray's Tavern (and some douchebags).

Saturday I met up with Juile and some friends to watch the Blackhawks game at Harry Caray’s Tavern in Wrigleyville.  Jim Cornelison was there to sing O Canada and The Star-Spangled Banner.  If you’ve never been to a Hawks game you can’t quite appreciate how a National Anthem is supposed to be performed.  Check the video above for a sample.

Also, if you’re looking for a 2 bedroom condo in Irving Park Jim’s your man.

* Side Note:

Harry Caray’s Tavern turns into a douchebag haven at about 11pm every Saturday.  Not sure about the top photo but that guy was neither rebelling nor rocking.  The other guy’s got so many things wrong with his sweater I’m not quite sure where to begin.

Julie's 30!

We celebrated Julie’s 30th birthday at Lincoln Square Lanes last night with great success.  We managed to get about 20 people to bowl at least 2 games which was a feat considering the small space that is Lincoln Square Lanes.  I probably had the worst night of bowling in my life but I blame it on my ‘Bowlers Thumb‘.

If you’re wondering about how I made the awesome cake, I didn’t.  Tracie baked and iced the cake and I ordered a ‘cake cling’ from Gogo Cake.

Needless to say a good time was had by all.
