What a great picture, I must admit this was taken at an ungodly hour, but nonetheless a great picture. At least I didn’t show the picture of you and the Enforcer again, that would be tragic. The tide has shifted.
Today I spent more money on gas than ever before. After mounting a successful defense against $2.00/Gallon gas prices for the better part of 2 weeks I succumb to the powers that be: I paid a mere $2.13/Gallon.
Gas prices have increased more than 40% since 2000 according to the AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report. I still believe it’s evil to be paying more than $150/Gallon let alone $2.00. The best thing about this is how gas prices still seem to magically raise on Thursday evening and they don’t come down until Monday evening. I suppose if I didn’t take part in Don’t Buy Gas Day I wouldn’t have had to pay as much on Friday when the prices go up because of the ‘Market’.
Damned if you do, Damned if you don’t.
The following are Terms I’ve learned during George W. Bush’s term:
1. Resolve – All I really know about this is that we as a nation, the president, and a whole shitload of others have quite a bit of this. And the Terrorist’s don’t.
2. WMD – I now know this means one shell that contains sarin gas from 20 years ago.
3. UnLawful Combatant – This includes pretty much anyone the administration would like to have a naked photograph of.
4. The Buck Stops Here – I learned that ‘here” is no longer the President’s desk, I assume George got rid of the world’s most powerful paper-weight when he moved in.
5. Mission Accomplished – I learned this term means at least another year of horrible urban war.
