Tonight I went to a Ohio State Alumni gathering at McGee’s Tavern hosted by the OSU Alumni Club of Chicago which I will be helping relaunch their website in the near future. The event was a good time. I was probably one of only a handful of people not dressed in a suit but that was fine since Ohio State President Gordon Gee told me he like my shirt.
That’s really all that counts.
Aren’t there at least 2 OSU alums in Chicago that we know about? Why did only one attend?
That’s a good question, probably the $25 fee.
Did you tell Gee that Kirwin came to Oakland free of charge!
No, but then again Kirwin could afford to do that because he raised tuition his entire four year tenure.
Broke son.
Not paying 25 to go sit in a bar to see him. I met him like twice when I was in high school….plus I still got my pic with Kirwin and all that cost me was a blast of rubber to the arm and tear gas to the face…probably dull taste buds as well.
It also cost you 5 consecutive tuition increases over the legal 9% limit set by the State of Ohio.
Good point. Gotta love “higher education”
