All Al all the time!

The New York Observer is reporting that Al Gore and his business partners are near reaching a deal to buy French-owned Vivendi Universal for $70 Million. This would include the cable channel Newsworld International.

Mr. Gore’s group plans to transform the sleepy foreign-news outlet into a youth-oriented public-affairs channel, a jump-cut news network for the iPod set.

I take this as meaning a hip-youth oriented alternative to the Evil FOX NEWS. I’m just not sure if Al Gore is hip. Then again who the hell uses the term ‘hip’ anyway’s?
