Last night Julie and I headed to Logan Square to finally checkout Revolution Brewing Company. I’ve been meaning to get out there since they opened this year but it’s not really convient unless I’m taking the blue line from the Loop (which I did last night). Revolution has more than 10 beers on tap, most of them their own beers and then they have a small selection of guest taps (Three Floyds Brewing and Victory Brewing) along with a large bottle selection. I stuck with the house beers since you can’t get them anywhere else. I started with the Workingman Mild, moved on to the Cross of Gold and finished the night with a couple Iron Fist Pale Ales. I wish I would have had one Thee Destroyer but that will have to wait until next time. I did get a growler of Cross of Gold to go so I’m set for the weekend.
In addition to all the beer, the food at Revolution Brewing is really good. I managed to mooch some Bacon Fat Popcorn from the guy next to me and Julie and I had a soft pretzel and burgers.
