It’s hard to believe but merely I am rounding second in this stretch of Baseball that includes six games in ten days.  Last night with total reckless abandon (and that fact that my office has an average temperature of 79.0 °F) I decided to forgo wearing a coat and of course the night turned into Gotham City before the game began. Julie ended up buying me a sweatshirt but that’s another story.

The White Sox faced off against one of the better teams in Baseball and had no trouble from the start.  The Indians got on the bored in the first inning but that was really all they had until a 9th inning Home Run by Matt LaPorta.  The White Sox took the lead in bottom of the 1st inning off a Paul Konerko two-run double and never looked back beating the Indians 8-2.

Side Notes:

* With Julie’s help I’m getting a lot better at keeping score, though it still reminds me of Math.

** This was by far the most fog I’ve ever seen at a baseball game.
