About a month ago I got one of the best gifts a guy can get. A DVD of the movie Mr. Atlas: Legend… Hero… Friend., I was suprised that such a film would be preserved on DVD for for all to see. Here’s the plot for some of you who are not familar with this masterpiece:

Fantastic adventure abounds in this story about a boy and a god. Danny Nielsen (T.J. Lowther) goes for a stroll one day when he unwittingly falls into a deep hole. Unable to get out, the boy begins to search around and finds himself face-to-face with the Greek god Atlas, the man with the world on his shoulders. Atlas helps Danny to safety, and the two become fast friends. When Danny decides to invite the god to his home as a show of gratitude, Atlas immediately becomes love struck with Danny’s mother. A story of true love, the unbreakable bond of friendship, and family values, Mr. Atlas provides excitement and entertainment for the whole family!
