I have been notified by the man sitting next to me on the couch that I should consider finding an editor for Black Hand Productions. After numerous spelling and grammatical errors I decided to post the position for all to apply. This is not a glamorous job but according to the man on the couch it is vital to the future of this publication.

Job Description:

Black Hand Productions is seeking an online editor to be part of the team that produces this web site. Black Hand Productions is a non-profit publication that supports people’s active engagement in creating a more just, sustainable, and compassionate world. The Online Editor works as part of the Black Hand Productions editorial team and reports to the Executive Editor. This position is primarily responsible for writing and editing the content of the website:

QUALIFICATIONS
• Attend staff meetings and other organizational meetings aimed at setting the direction for Black Hand Productions.
• Assist with editing and writing for other organizational purposes
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Familiarity with HTML and other web-related tools
• Prefer experience publishing online
• Well organized — experience with multi-faceted deadline-driven projects
• Meticulous about accuracy and grammar.
• Flexible–good at working with a team.
• Good Research skills
• Passionate about making the world a better place.
