A Cold Night at Wrigley.

Reds Vs. Cubs

Last night I met up with Dom & Kelly and their friend to watch the Reds- Cubs game at Wrigley.  It was 60 degrees when I left the house and I’m pretty sure it dropped 20 degrees by the time I walked to the stadium.  Our seats were great:  Section 223, Row 6.  The weather on the other hand was windy as hell.

Ken Griffey, Jr. wore No. 42 to honor Jackie Robinson and hit his 595th home run… I of course was in the bathroom when this occurred.  I did see Derrek Lee’s three-run homer during the fifth inning though.  Not much after that, we left for shelter as the wind was blowing with a vengeance.

Good thing we didn’t go last night- they actually took all the flags at the stadium down b/c of the wind.

Unfortunately, we still would have heard that downfall of society known as the Cubs Victory Song.
