Tale of Two Towns.

These are two images taken from the same day in Portland, Oregon. There have been many comments on how the candidates paths will continue to cross as the election nears but these pictures seemed to tell a story. The president spoke to a group of about 2,300 supporters at a ‘town-hall’ meeting while Sen. Kerry spoke at a rally to between 40,000 and 50,000 people. Now you must take into account that not everyone is allowed into the president’s events (such as those who will not sign a loyalty oath) and the fact that Portland is seen as a very liberal city but you must wonder…50,000 people?
