Last night I trekked out to Gordon Tech High School for this years’ Chicago Golden Gloves tournament. By far the best fight I saw was in the 141-pound Open division between Kofi Bazzel-Smith and Kirk Billis. It was a lot more technically sound boxing than guys just openly swinging. Bazzel-Smith is in the photograph above with his championship belt.
